Preparing for a GTM Engineering Role: Insights and Resources Needed
Hi everyone! I was encouraged to share my 🔥 burning fire question here from my intro in the Introduce Yourself channel. TL;DR: I’ve been given a GTM Engineering part-time opportunity using Clay with only having B2C CRM experience. I’ve just completed the Clay 101 Cohort and attended the Evolution of GTME call. In prep in starting my new GTME engagement, I’d love any insight on any other prep work I should do like the intro to python and java script mentioned on the call. Also it would be great learn if anyone had a similar intro experience into GTME and Clay. TL;But Still Read 🔥 Burning question: This part-time GTME engagement won’t start until December or January, and I’ll do as much prep as I can on B2B ways of working, HubSpot (their CRM), and Clay knowledge building until then. I attended an Evolution of GTME call that Clay hosted back in October. Reviewing the GTME archetypes discussed on the call, I believe I’m a mix between the Outbound Architect and CRM Organizer. It was recommended to take an intro to python and java script course on the call. Are there any other courses I should consider while I have a month or so to prep before this engagement? I do have a Coursera subscription and have intro to HubSpot and SQL courses on my list! Also along with Clay, has anyone newly transitioned to B2B and open to sharing your experience? Thank you!
