After updating/adding new data to a source sheet, how do I get the job change table to re-run?
Hey! I understand you want to make sure your job change table stays up to date with your source data. As long as you have the "Enable" toggle switched on in your table, Clay will automatically detect and process any new or updated data from your source sheet. The table runs independently and continuously checks for changes. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1254188078/29e7ef61f0884166381b9dc314ee/CleanShot+2024-11-16+at+_45Pl8wQ4Zz%402x.png?expires=1731762000&signature=75fc9439eb3a66dfdc256b6119544cc50125fa4c8c3f4358ecd1f039e953252e&req=dSIiEsh2lYFYUfMW1HO4zXD0yjGuo%2BUljDgizluQKVZ%2Fg%2FSxXLF6%2FtIkoeIa%0AS2bD%0A Would you like me to help verify that your table is properly enabled and picking up the updates?
I want to test my setup, and force it to run on demand/complete the historical check. Is this possible?
Please remove this screenshot-- it reveals information I don’t want shared with the public
I understand you're looking to manage historical data and access. Let me help with both: 1. For historical data setup, Check thistutorial videoshowing the exact steps and make sure to add the company they were previously at in the "historical check" part. That way you'll be able to see this. 2. I will delete this, I requested our slack admin - this should be processed quickly 3. For sensitive data exchanges, I recommend using the application chat instead of Slack, as it provides better privacy - only you and I can view the information there. Will also be more careful Let me know if you need help with any of these steps! https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1254465217/71b5e117cdf86dfe4109f0ad51e6/CleanShot+2024-11-16+at+_434lv2I9FO%402x.png?expires=1731789900&signature=ef086f2f92987ee27ca2d58a598a4f7476622bcfc06c03e6402de6187ef2e7cf&req=dSIiEs14mINeXvMW1HO4zbv0dmbRkzuL9FTdLnL06rPJC75PNUmS1I1ON6cU%0A43tO%0A

Ok, great. I’m asking if there is a way to re-run a job change table, after it’s been created. I’ve added data to the source table. and want to run the historical check, as if I was creating the job change table for the first time.
I don’t want to create a new job change table, I want to use the existing one, and simply re-run it, so it will conduct the historical check on the updated data in the source sheet.
Hey Rose! Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help✨. It's currently not possible to make edits/modifications/re-run a Job Change Events table after it is saved. The team is scoping out potential solutions for this but we don't have an ETA yet. We'll let you know as soon as we have an update. In the meantime, what you can do is duplicate your current job change event table and in the new cloned table: - Delete the existing "Event: Job Change" column - Click "Actions" (top-right) -> "Import" -> "monitor for job changes" That will create a new job changers column that you can configure to point to the table that has those records and your new inputs (with "Historical check" selected). Let me know if this helps.
Thanks Daniela
