Best Practices for Communicating Clay Table Changes to Clients as Freelance GTM Engineers

For folks working as freelance GTM engineers/agencies - how are you communicating changes to your Clay tables to clients? Curious:

What’s your current workflow?
What actually works vs. got ignored/didn't work?
How do you make changes legible to less-technical people?

Right now it feels pretty fragmented (Looms, Slack updates, Notion docs) but want to understand this better.

What do you mean by 'changes to your Clay tables'? Can you provide some context or examples?

I believe she's referring to updates that are made a table and the process to keep the client in the loop

Sure! Let's say I added a new enrichment to the Clay table, updated a couple of the existing enrichments/fields, etc based on feedback from response rates. Do you typically communicate these "lower level changes" to clients or they only care about the high-level outcomes?

It's generally need-based only. Most clients don't care or don't need to know what happens with the enrichments as long as you can get them results. In rare cases, if the client is also heavily involved in the Clay build, I use a Google Doc to track all changes. For example, a Claygent prompt - Version 1.0 Version 2.0 Version 3.0 Current

Sometimes that also involves const comparison (if they are directly involved in the build)
