ZoomInfo -> Clay Hey! I'm at a a Series B with a pretty narrow ICP - ~50k direct users, ~10-20k Decision makers, ~200-300k influencers. We're moving away from PLG to sales-led. My idea is to map our TAM then use intent + marketing/product signals to target people with SDR (outreach) and automated outbound (instantly). Two questions:
Does that sound about right?
Is there any benefit of keeping ZoomInfo or best to keep it as a complement? I see it as a duplicative tool but curious if anyone has made this move too
Thanks!
Ditch doom info lol
Hi Will. Series C going down the PLG to SLG as well. We kept Apollo not Zoominfo in addition to Clay. Three reasons.
Our field sales are large enterprise manager. They will not use Clay and dont want to.
Our marketing teams dont use Clay at all. They use exports from Apollo based on ICP
Only our inbound team uses Clay. Small set of people (4) vs 14 field sales.
Anyone that says you need one vs the other is typically an end user with a narrow use case. The "Enterprise" has workflows, requirements for data security that Clay just does not offer us yet. I like Clay and use it to support BDR team but not beyond that
