Sara A. welcome! Similar background here, about 2 years into my Clay journey, now working as a full time consultant in the space. I can recommend you check out the Clay Cohorts program (time/availability permitting) - they do a really good job at training across basic use cases and foundational concepts (AI cohort is 🔥). In terms of Account Research / Enrichment / Segmentation + RevOps automation I've gone pretty deep with a few different clients recently, and if you have any basic questions on the topic I'd be happy to answer them.

You can also run a reasonably sized list through Claude (or another LLM if you like getting worse results) and ask it to flag any pre-enrichment cleanup activities.

Yes, there are a lot of zero-credit enrichments that can be used here. If you have a reference table of DNC / Customer records, you can domain match against that within Clay for free, saving you from spending credits on accounts you dont need to enrich. I think manual data set review is a super important step prior to running paid enrichments, but I would guess I'm in the minority there.

The Clay team's silence on this has been deafening - I don't know anyone who likes this change, and most of my clients have found it very confusing and a blocker to building permanent infrastructure with Clay.

There might be a data broker out there who specializes in Upwork data, but I dont think you'll find an enrichment source for it; they do a pretty good job of keeping that under wraps.

Upwork has search functionality that can show you job postings for certain types of jobs I believe. I would start by trying to pull what you can from the site itself and then apply enrichment to the resulting data.

Technographics are almost always related to web technologies visible on the companies web presence. Upwork in very unlikely to exist as a vendor/product signal in a Technographic database.
