Hi, While trying to setup a row lookup to sheets I am not getting any option to select the lookup column and lookup value. Why is this?

I'm sorry you're having trouble setting up the row lookup to Google Sheets. To select the lookup column and value, you need to follow these steps: 1. Select your Google Sheets account with read access to the sheet. 2. Paste your Google Spreadsheet URL. 3. Specify the Sheet ID you want to lookup a value in. 4. You should then be able to specify the Lookup Column and Lookup Value. If you're not seeing these options after step 3, there might be an issue with the connection or permissions. Double-check that you've completed the first three steps correctly. If the problem persists, please request human assistance by clicking on "Talk to a person" for further troubleshooting.

Hey Aamir, thanks for reaching out. This is likely due to your sharing settings on this google Sheet, they will need to be set to "Anyone with Link Can View & Edit" in order for Clay to add/update data within it. Try adjusting this and let us know how it goes! :)

Sounds good, let us know! Would also check that there aren't any duplicate column headers in the sheet you're trying to map.

Hi Aamir, I noticed there are duplicate column headers in your sheet. The system found multiple columns with the header "Email" which is causing the import error. Please check your spreadsheet and make sure all column headers are unique. Duplicate headers like "Email" appearing more than once will prevent the import from working properly. Once you've updated the headers to be unique (you could rename them to "Email 1", "Email 2", etc. or something more descriptive of what each contains), try importing again and it should work. Let me know if you need any help with this!

Hey Aamir! Jumping in for Bo—I’m not seeing multiple columns with the same header as well. I just reran the rows that had errors, and everything seems to be working now. Let me know if you’re still running into issues!

So sorry for the delay here! I took a look at your other sheet just now and saw that it timed out. If your Google Sheet lookup is timing out, it usually means the data being sent is too large or is taking too long to process. Currently, there isn’t a strict row limit, but if the sheet contains a large number of rows or complex data, it might cause delays or timeouts. Please try reducing the number of rows or simplifying the data to see if it helps. If you’re still experiencing issues or need further assistance, just let me know! 😊
