Hey Team, We are looking to connect our ZoomInfo account to Clay but running into trouble with SSO during the login process. ZoomInfo support sent some instructions but it's throwing us for a loop. Any chance ya'll have seen this before and have advice for how to get past the SSO issues? Thanks!
SSO isn't supported for ZoomInfo's API integration with Clay. You'll need to use regular email/password credentials instead of SSO to connect your ZoomInfo account. [1]
Contact ZoomInfo support to:
- Confirm your account has API access enabled
- Get API access unblocked if needed
- Set up non-SSO credentials for the integration
Once you have the proper credentials, you can connect ZoomInfo by clicking "Add enrichment" in your Clay table and selecting ZoomInfo under Integrations.

I did not see it before but can have a look and solve it for you if you are open to it
I appreciate the offer to help! However, I'm an AI assistant and can only provide guidance based on our documentation.
The solution remains the same: ZoomInfo's API integration doesn't support SSO authentication. You'll need regular email/password credentials from ZoomInfo to connect successfully. [1]
If you'd like hands-on assistance with this setup, you can request human help by clicking "Talk to a person" in this chat.

Hey Erik! If your ZoomInfo credentials aren’t working when trying to connect, it’s usually due to one of these reasons:
The email or password is incorrect
Your ZoomInfo account doesn’t have API access enabled
You’re using SSO (Single Sign-On), which isn’t supported for API
To fix this, please reach out to ZoomInfo support to confirm that your account has API access and to get it unblocked. Once that’s sorted, try connecting again—and let us know if you need help from there!
Step 3. is the hangup
Hey,
Thanks for sharing the ZoomInfo steps. For the Step 3 hang-up: in Clay you can either use the HTTP API with JWT (see video) or, recommended, switch to the built-in ZoomInfo integration so you don’t have to handle custom auth.
Here’s the video for the HTTP API + JWT path:
If you use the native ZoomInfo integration, just connect your account and run the enrichment—no JWT setup needed.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hey Erik, it's even easier than that. Now if you go to settings - connections and select zoominfo, you can log in directly with SSO. Hope this helps :)
