Hey everyone! I work for a digital marketing agency that specilizes in LinkedIn and we work with some big name companies like Samsung for example. I want to target companies in our ICP. Other than the obvious which I know, I wanted to ask you all, what lead gen strategies would you consider for our cold email outreach and paid ads campaigns? TIA.
Hey Reese W. a few things you could consider to try you can start with companies hiring for linkedin or paid social roles. this could be a good signal since it seems they clearly have budget and are already invested in the channel also check if they're running linkedin ads, pull their domain into similarweb or other related tool (you can do this in clay) and see if they're running paid traffic elsewhere too. this tells you a lot about their needs and you can build messaging around what they're doing vs what's missing and you can try out retargeting, reaching out to people visiting your site or engaging with your content - you got warm leads here. you could also run ads to that audience and layer cold email to the same people. and if you are already running ads, you can retarget people (outreach target) who came through those ads. But qualify them based on how they behaved after clicking and their activity,
One strategy that works well is combining LinkedIn intent signals with enriched lead data instead of relying only on broad ICP targeting. For example, targeting companies actively hiring, posting growth updates, or running ads often gives better response rates because timing is right. For cold email, personalized pain-point messaging + verified decision-maker data usually performs better than volume-based outreach. For paid ads, retargeting engaged LinkedIn visitors or warm audiences can improve conversions significantly.
