Hey @channel! With the rise of GTME roles, weβve been hearing from a lot of companies looking for high quality candidates. If you know someone who'd be a great GTME at a startup/tech company, please have them fill out this 30-second form! Weβll be reviewing every submission (using Clay, of course!) and making potential matches. π
agreed with Jordan, would be nice to have a salary reference to catch with the state of the market
Ooh great idea! I can do some market research on this, let me followup next week!
Amazing! I think clay should basically tell companies, βthis role is $200k to $350k, to set expectationsβ and then Clay should certify folks (Iβll help). That way it makes the profession not some bullshit throwaway title, folks know to respect it, and Clay can stamp people as like certified and at that rate Clay can even work with the people to help them. Thereβs for sure a way that Clay being in the center can elevate the role, Lock Clay in as the center of gravity, and make candidates forever grateful that Clay made their career with a huge raise from what they were doing before. Thereβs a massive opportunity here and Iβm so pumped for Clay to seize it and help the community with their trusted brand.
Yess! Glad to see we're on the same wavelength. We recently launched Clay Certifications - have you checked this out yet?
No, been too busy LOL but checking now
The only challenge I see Natalie is that anyone could copy a table and never really built it from scratch. What about certifications that require you to enter an "exam" like session where you're asking to build...setup webhooks, enrichments...outbound auto...etc? Then you truly know the person performs at the level expected.
I see a few tiers of Clay certifications as GOLD in this space because it'll really set apart professionals in the space...just a few thoughts to consider. I also do alot of advanced webhook+HTTP API to external apps that don't fit in traditional outbound/inbound but are very advanced and unique beyond the basics...as I'm sure many of us here are doing π
What's the process here Natalie H.? I just submitted the typeform, but I don't a confirmation of the submittal π
Thanks Tim C.! Great suggestions. I'll let my teammate Sarah who's leading certifications followup here π
Willy H. I checked the claytable and your submission has gone through, thanks for flagging this! I'll tweak the workflow so people will get confirmation moving forward.
Companies look for different things (location, years of experience, background, etc) and we try to find people who are a good fit for what they're looking for. So we can't guarantee that everyone will be matched, but we'll reach out to you over email directly for any intros and connect you to companies directly! Let me know if there are more q's on this! ![]()
Also to followup Jordan C. and Esteban L. - according to Pave, 400+ GTME jobs were posted this spring at a $160K median salaryβ20% above traditional sales/marketing operations roles. Also listed on our Series C site here!
I agree with Jordan that the salary should frame higher and that Clay should lead the charge.
Thank you Natalie H. !!!
