How to Undo Deletions and Restore Previous Table Versions in Databases

·
·

Is there a way to undo an action or revert to a previous version of the table? My company URL column was dependent on another column and I deleted that column because I wanted the company URL column to be a raw URL column. When I deleted the column from the field where it says “Enter Value”, it deleted a ton of of the URLs in this normalizedurl field, and then I lost a ton of the enrichment data that was a function of the normalizedurl column.

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to recover deleted columns. The columns would need to be re-created and the data would need to be re-fetched from its providers. For future reference, here's what can be recovered in Clay: ** Deleted tables: These can be restored from the "Trash" tab on the main workspace ** Deleted rows: These can only be recovered using the "Undo" option that appears in the bottom-right corner immediately after deletion Since your case involves deleted column data, you'll need to: 1. Re-create the necessary columns 2. Re-run the enrichments to fetch the data again If you need help recovering credits for this situation, please let us know more details so we can look into it with you.

Hi, Once that disappears, we can't retrieve the data since it's gone from the system. How many credits were used here? For future reference, before making significant changes, I'd recommend turning off the auto-update feature, making your changes, and then turning it back on when you're done. This prevents unexpected data loss when modifying dependencies. Also here's some quick guides Tips for saving credits Credits 101 Let me know if you need help with anything else!
