Can I push clay table to Google Sheet automtically with every new data added? without going throguh zapier or webhooks
Hello, unfortunately, without using a webhook, this won’t be possible, as our data is static and needs to be manually triggered to push to a Google Sheet. With a webhook, however, the data can be automatically pushed without manual intervention, triggered by a specific event. Would you need help setting up a webhook?
yes, I will need help setting up a webhook
This video shows you how to create a webhook table within Clay.
I believe this for importing data from other sources. What about pushing data from Clay to Googlesheet through webhook? is there any video explaining it
Hi, after closer inspection, I do not think it is possible to do this. However, it is possible to manually modify and find data on Google Sheets by using one of the different enrichments shown below. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1258349006/9b4ebb3a5d39d4a3d74e5089f458/CleanShot+2024-11-19+at+16_36_43%402x.png?expires=1732054500&signature=aa21ded3bd739c8787e1b6faf185e1b620acb706d492a76e38a94a5926905c11&req=dSIiHsp6lIFfX%2FMW1HO4zRQzNMxJ2R4hLrIsagrO5BLvXu9VrlkiqTXImoJN%0A%2FOCW%0A Let me know if this helps and sorry we were not able to find a perfect solution to your query!
yes this is whats needed. This will hopefully push data to googlesheets and update automatically. Thanks
Yes, it will. Let us know if we can do anything for you here! :)
Thanks Bo (.. One more question. When I am pushing data from clay to google sheet. Can I push from clay to table to multiple sheets? The idea is, I have a google sheet with different locations and I want data from clay table to update in the google sheet in respctive city sheets? Or do I have to create separate Clay table based on cities and then connect google sheet for each of them?
This is the googlesheet I want to populate through Clay. each city has a separate sheet/tab as appearing in the attachment
You can set up multiple Google Sheets columns, and in each one, choose a different Sheet ID to send data to. So you could have one column for SF, one for LA, one for ATL, etc. When editing each column use the "Run settings" and set "Only run if" conditions, to ensure that only ATL data goes to the ATL sheet. More on using conditions here in this video: https://www.clay.com/university/lesson/ai-formulas-conditional-runs-clay-101
