Hi guys, I want to build a clay table where I want to scrape Google map results like plumbing companies and then find out the top 3 competitors of the plumbing company and their Google map ranking and ratings so that I can mentioned the competetors' position is this possible to do it? Tanvi R. Daniela D.
We can help you build a table to scrape Google Maps results for plumbing companies using our Google Maps integration. Here's how: 1. Create a new table or add to an existing workbook. 2. Use the Google Maps integration to set up your search: • Set location (e.g., your target city) • Use "plumbing companies" as your search term • Adjust the search radius as needed This will pull in plumbing companies with their ratings and reviews. To find competitors and rankings: 1. Use the data to identify top-rated plumbing companies 2. For each company, you can use our AI capabilities (like Claygent) to analyze their information and identify potential competitors 3. Create additional columns to store competitor data and rankings Note that while we can help you gather this information, finding specific competitors and determining exact rankings may require additional analysis on your part.
Is that what you were looking for?
Like how can we get the top 3 competetors that are ranking high and rating and keep them in a separate column.
Looks like you're still looking for help.

Also, How do i find the websites, decision makers and their emails, should I use Claygent to make it happen? Because sometimes these locla businesses dont have websites
Hi Anjan,
I recorded a video showing you how to find the businesses and their competitors: https://cln.sh/72DB47f5
Regarding finding their decision makers, you're right. It can be a little bit harder due to them being smaller businesses. Here's a video showing you how to find people at these companies: https://cln.sh/pHgLKqxZ
Hey,
You can but it won't be as exact. I'd recommend to give it a try with the Claygent and see if you like the results. If you do, then keep it, if not add Semrush. The reason why I used Semrush is because this is their strength to get that data and you'd rather be 100% exact here when reaching out to them with this. If the credits are an issue, you can try to score every lead better upfront to remove as much as possible and then use the ones that meet the exact criteria with this.
using Clay or Claygent
also how do we know the kind of keywords, a particular company is ranking for on Google maps!
Hey Anjan - Here's a video showing you how: https://cln.sh/67MCBYx2 Let me know how it goes.
Thanks! We've reopened this thread. You can continue to add more detail directly in this thread.
Hey there Anjan thanks for reaching out, jumping in for Bo here. To clarify do you have specific link that you are trying to use
here is one of company Google map urls: https://search.google.com/local/reviews?placeid=ChIJN57qIiq0woAR5-DUP2BL338&q=pest+control+near+los+angeles+ca&authuser=0&hl=en&gl=IN
can we actually take out any negative review from the link with claygent?
Hey Enjen, Yes, it's possible to do it with Claygent. Give it a try - basically anything is possible with Claygent. Just use the preview option first, and if you like the results, run it on all rows.
