Hey Clay experts, (Any automations expert here? 👀) Need your help over here - I got a huge number of ecommerce stores domains list (100k) Now, I want to do these things -
Scrape domains using Zenrows (cheaper option)
Use any free model (like gpt oss via openrouter) to get the zenrows body data and classify if this is an ecommerce store.
If yes, then check for Industry.
Can anyone help me set up this system inside clay? Ps - I tried this one, zenrows can work properly, but I don't know how to use Openrouter connected with free models.
Here's how to set up your ecommerce classification system in Clay:
Step 1: Set up Zenrows scraping
Step 2: Use HTTP API for OpenRouter
Since Clay doesn't have a native OpenRouter integration, you'll need to use the HTTP API enrichment:
Add enrichment → HTTP API
Set up POST request to OpenRouter's API endpoint
Pass the Zenrows scraped content as input to your chosen free model
Configure the prompt to classify ecommerce stores and identify industry
Step 3: Chain the enrichments
Run Zenrows first to get website content [3]
Then run HTTP API with OpenRouter using the scraped data as input
Use conditional logic to only process domains classified as ecommerce
This approach lets you process your 100k domains efficiently while keeping costs low with free models via OpenRouter.

For your ecommerce classification system, you can use Zenrows for scraping and Claygent for AI-powered classification. [1]
Set up Zenrows by adding the enrichment, inputting your domain URLs, and enabling "Autoparse" to format scraped data for Clay. For classification, use Claygent to create custom categories - define your specific ecommerce vs non-ecommerce criteria and industry classifications in the prompt. [2]
