Hi , I'm new to GTME space please share your insights on how should a beginner get started with and get a job for learning skills while creating value for others!!!
+1 to this. Advice from someone who’s already gone through the process would be really valuable. If anyone would be open to informally mentoring or sharing how they built their first portfolio, that would be awesome. Happy to join a casual online meet as well.
I am learning too so anybody that wants to be a study buddy or someone that wants to mentor?
Guys, I've been in the GTME space this last year only, after 10+ years as a marketer. One thing I can definitely tell you is that the technical aspect of the job is probably the easiest part. If you are already drawn to that kind of work, you should be fine with online information/tutorials. Where I see it gets harder is to be able to be technical and also have business and marketing vision. Being able to do copywriting, work on persona/ICP documents, connect the dots between acquisition channels, branding work and performance work... All that takes year to build. Just do as many projects as you can, read great newsletters/blogs, be curious. My two cents, if that helps :)
Hey all, We cover a lot of ground on GTM strategies, tools and techniques on our youtube channel. So far we've covered tools like Clay, n8n, explorium and more. Hope it helps!
