Anyone have experience pushing Clay messaging into Salesloft? I’d love to learn best practices around workflow and mapping personalized messaging into Salesloft templates. Right now I’m using ~10 Clay text fields and running into limits with 4+ emails in a cadence - curious if anyone is using a single Clay field and has figured out paragraph spacing/line breaks when it flows into Salesloft. Thanks!
QQ - Wouldn't you want to track the activity via CRM?
Our Salesforce is also connected but Salesloft is our outbound emailing tool
Yes I understand that, but I'm saying that wouldn't the flow go, Clay -> CRM -> outbound tool. But I also get how perhaps for the creation of the body of the email, that's something that we may want to do in Clay haha
Sorry I had to reread your note
😅
Would love to tag team this with you if you're up for it?
All good! Yes - my contacts are already in Salesforce and Salesloft. I’ve been upserting the person into Salesloft and mapping individual Clay-generated paragraphs to distinct text fields. The thing is I’m using up my fields in emails 1-2, so I’m curious how others are syncing Clay-generated messaging into Salesloft templates. Mainly trying to see if anyone’s approaching this differently!
For sure, it makes sense. I haven't done this directly to a sequencing/cadence tool (which is why I'm intrigued to solve for it). But conceptually I know how I’d do it. Do you know if salesloft would accept HTML? It's been ages since I've used it.
If they do then our problems are solved haha
Yeah they do
We can solve for this without the need of salesforce fields!
Let me know if I can help ya on this! (I'd do this on the house just to gain the experience! — also happy to sign an MNDA if needed)
Would love to connect on this, I've never dabbled with this HTML use case! Any chance you have some time later today?
I'm booked in the PM, but have time this AM
