Tips for Increasing Engagement in Cold Email Campaigns

Good morning. I have fantastic open rates, with >70% of my cold emails being opened from enriched data on Clay and with help from tools like Twain. I have people opening emails multiple times. My engagement is low. I'm not getting responses nor engagement. Would appreciate any advice. Cold email, 4 email sequence.

open rate is a dead matric and it will destroy your deliverability, feel free to trun it off

it does not indicate anything, typically bots scan your emails for viruses which is counted as an open as well

no right answer to this question, but if you are not getting any automated responses, or responses at all then you should be a bit concerned

I'm obviously concerned or I wouldn't have asked the question. How do we explain unique opens vs total opens?

unique opens --- emails opened by unique leads total opens --- includes the email opened by the same lead multiple times or etc

Yes, thank you for explaining what I already understand. I understand your original point about Unique opens. It is s dead metric. This doesn't explain away total opens.

It really depends on your email copy and list compatability and it's a fact brother that open rates just hamper your deliverability nothing else. Esentially try focusing more on leadscoring and offer relevance brother. Feel free to reachout to me anytime if you need any help
