Use Cases for Clay Platform with Instagram Integration

Hi, Has anyone used Clay for X, or Instagram? Does anybody know some usecases?

I need to find all people that are in Trading and that are posting on X or IG

gotcha for IG: easiest way is use an apify actor to scrape profiles from trading hashtags (#daytrading, #forextrader, etc) and push that into clay. from there you can enrich for emails/linkedin or you could start with apollo to find traders first, then enrich for their IG handles in clay for X: same thing - apify can scrape twitter profiles based on trading keywords, then push to clay heads up tho - trading social has a ton of bots and scam accounts, so you'll probably need to filter for real people (check if they have linkedin, follower ratios look normal, posts seem legit) what's the end goal - you trying to reach out to them or just build a list?

Just a thought Vukasin M., you could target TikTok users as well, couple of people that like doing regular live sessions especially moving into the weekend. Could be a good concentration of potential leads for you there. As mentioned above, try a few Apify scrapers and see which work best.

yea and also since outreach is the goal and you're trying to book meetings, i'd start with apollo or sales nav to find traders at real firms - you get emails + linkedin from the jump. way cleaner than scraping social profiles and then trying to enrich for contact info (match rates are rough from just IG/X handles) either way, run a small test first - like 20-50 profiles - and see what data you're actually getting before building out the whole thing
