Sorting in Clay: Does Find People Search the Entire List?

Hey, question for the group. If I sort by a column in clay when managing a company sheet (imported CSV), and I then do "Find people at these companies", will it only search for people in my sorted list vs. the entire list? I'm trying to segment how I look for people at companies already in my CRM vs. those that are not
