How to Remove an Associated Company from a Contact in HubSpot

For anyone using Hubspot, do you know how to disassociate an Associated Company from a contact? I’m trying to use the Job Changes signal, and Clay adds new Primary Associated Companies, but I can’t get it to remove the old company. My contacts are all ending up with two companies, and I have to manually remove the old ones.

Hey Connor - there's a setting in Hubspot that auto-associates companies based on domains.

Hi Andrew, I’m looking to solve the opposite process. When I do a job change action in Clay, it’ll add the new company (either through an email domain or manually), but it doesn’t remove the previous company. Any thoughts on that process?

Connor M. Hmm, maybe a workflow is needed to clear the business. New property: New Company updated by Clay Workflow: If New Company = updated then clear existing Company & Company = New Company
