Hello Clay friends. I can't seem to find any links to list management best practices. We are a Web Development shop serving mid-enterprise. I typically do research via Apollo, enrich via clay, then scoring (in my case Websites with Page Speed Insights and Built-with via Spreadsheet then start outreach with Smartleads and HeyReach. This quickly turns into several lists that mature at different rates and I am looking to advise on how to manage a 'gold source of truth' list somewhere. We don't want everyone in Pipedrive as we only use that once we have a SQL or Opp. Ack - I have overlapping date everywhere. 🙂
Hey, sounds like you’ve got a solid workflow already — Apollo → Clay → enrichment → outreach. The list sprawl issue is super common when running multiple campaigns at different maturity stages. At Panoptic, we’ve helped web and app development agencies centralize their prospect data using lightweight CRMs or data warehouses that sync automatically across enrichment, scoring, and outreach tools — keeping a single source of truth without cluttering Pipedrive. Happy to share how we structure and automate this kind of GTM data flow if you’d like to explore. – Sourabh linkedin.com/in/sourabh85 panopticanalytics.com
Hey Sourabh - thanks for this - great term - list sprawl. For now I am actually using Apollo as master list until there is a lead (interest). It's not ideal as I need to keep creating custom fields. Per Mike above - Supabase is an interesting idea. Happy to chat to share ideas.
