Hey all!
Just shared a walkthrough of a full recruiting workflow I built in Clay; thought it might be useful here.
The system:
Recruiting typically has three core problems:
- 1.
Finding the right companies to source from
- 2.
Figuring out which candidates actually fit the role
- 3.
Knowing what personalized angle to use in outreach
The workflow handles all three:
โ
Market mapping โ finds companies matching any criteria (industry, location, funding stage, size), using Clay's natural language input source
โ
AI candidate scoring โ reads LinkedIn profiles against a job brief and assigns A/B/C fit categories with reasoning
โ
Custom outreach angles โ generates personalized messaging for each candidate based on their background
What makes it interesting:
Uses Clay's AI web scraper for funding data instead of Crunchbase (1 credit vs. 15)
Automates qualification criteria extraction from job briefs
Turns 4 hours of manual research into few minutes of work
I used a real engineering role as the test case in the video.
Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone's built something similar
