Just built 350k hiring for sales tables.
Spent the day building hiring data for sales reps in Clay and learned a lot from it.
At first I tried pulling everything in one go but realized that Clay has limits on how much data you can pull at once.
So I changed the plan.
I split the tables by U.S. states and checked how much data each one brought in.
When a table reached around 20k to 25k rows, I stopped adding more states since Clay allows 25k per pull and a max of 50k per table.
This setup keeps things organized and saves time later on.
In the end I had
• 10 TAM tables for Sales Associates
• 11 TAM tables for BDRs, split by states (California alone had 19k open roles)
• 1 TAM table for Sales Reps
Really impressed by how smooth Clay made the whole process. It made working with large amounts of data feel simple and manageable.
