Seeking Feedback and Guidance on Building a Portfolio for GTM Engineering Roles
Hello everyone! ๐ A little bit about me โ I come from a marketing background, and what I love most about marketing is the freedom to think differently, test ideas, and find creative ways to solve problems. I've always been interested in lead generation and customer acquisition, so when I accidentally discovered GTM Engineering, I was immediately hooked. The combination of automation, data, and outbound systems felt incredibly exciting. As I started learning, I found Clay and couldn't believe that building lead generation workflows and even cold email systems could actually be fun. Over the last few days, I've been learning, experimenting, and building my own workflows. I'm also sharing my portfolio and would genuinely appreciate any feedback from the community. A few questions I would love guidance on: 1. How can I make my portfolio stronger and more attractive to potential employers or clients? 2. Based on my current work, what should be my next learning steps? 3. If my goal is to get a GTM Engineering role, what should I focus on the most? 4. What kinds of live projects would you recommend I build to gain real-world experience? 5. Are there any common mistakes beginners make that I should avoid? 6. Any additional advice, resources, or feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm here to learn, improve, and contribute wherever I can. Thank you in advance for taking the time to review my work and share your insights. https://getyourwebsite.github.io/GTMEngineer/ Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! ๐
