These are pretty different roles.
The Marketing Lead’s responsibility range from a few core things:
You need to deeply understand the market and how your product/service solves a really painful problem. This is known as “product marketing”
Then you need to figure out how you will communicate to the market why that problem matters and how your product is the best solution. This typically falls under content marketing and some parts of product marketing.
Then you need to figure out the best channels to distribute this message in a way that supports your business model. This often falls under growth marketing.
A marketing lead will likely need to do all of this, or be well rounded on each of these areas. A CMO, is much more higher level and likely have multiple people under them executing each area.
A GTME focuses on creating systems using automation and AI to generate revenue. Daniel J.
