Hey everyone! 👋
I’m working on a task where I need to build a targeted lead database for a fictional launch of a sports platform in the U.S. Here’s the breakdown:
1️⃣ Find leads for outbound efforts focusing on grassroots or semi-pro football clubs in one state.
2️⃣ Build a spreadsheet of 10 entries from 2 data sources.
3️⃣ Add 2-3 “bonus” insights for each club to help prioritize leads (e.g., sponsorships, competitor use, recent activity, etc.).
4️⃣ Write a quick plan for scaling this process to serve multiple sales teams.
Here’s the catch: I’ve noticed that the usual tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or even Clay aren’t yielding great results because this is such a niche market compared to regular tech businesses.
What’s your go-to strategy for sourcing and enriching leads in this kind of market? And when scaling lead gen for niche industries, are there any workflows or creative approaches you’d recommend?
