Hey all! I got asked if I could find leads for a B2C real state company using Clay, so basically find people who are actively looking to rent an apartment in a specific city. Is this something that can be done via Clay? How would you approach it?
Hey Pablo C. clay can’t pull people who are actively looking to rent, but you can find likely movers people who recently changed jobs, moved cities, or are active on rental platforms.. you can grab their public profiles, enrich and verify contacts, and segment by city it won’t be a perfect “looking now” list, but it’ll give you solid leads to target.
You can check public activity posts, comments, or profiles on rental sites, classifieds, or local housing forums social media groups related to rentals are useful too
Once you have those, you can enrich and verify the contacts to focus on the most likely movers.
Got you, but can you check this using Clay? Or other tools?
clay can’t directly check rental activity you’d need to pull public profiles from rental sites, classifieds, or social groups, then use clay to enrich, verify, and segment them
Makes sense! How would you do that? And one more question, is it possible to filter by people who live in a place but are not local? (eg. English people living in Spain)
I'd pull public profiles from rental sites and social groups, then use clay to enrich, verify, and segment you can also filter non-locals if their profile shows nationality or past locations. if you want, i can set this up..
