Seeking Tips to Build a List of 10K US VC-Backed Startups

Hi everyone, looking for a way to build a list of ±10K US VC-backed / growing start-ups. Would appreciate any hints or links to lists! I know it's possible to run Claygent on top of VC portfolio pages or enrich long lists of companies but this seems quite tedious and expensive.

If you use the open ai API it might cost you very less compared to directly running claygent with credit expense

Maybe use instant data scraper at vc's company list. (Not in clay) It's a Google extension. Get the company names, then use open ai API to get the founder's LinkedIn ( get me the names of the founders of <company>) then run another column ( <founder name> LinkedIn) Then use either full enrich API or any email enrichment to get their email. Or use Apollo, just add in the founder/co founder in the job title and company keyword tab the VC name or their batch date (techstars2022, YC S24) Copy the link and use apify Apollo scraper to get the rough list with emails included. Then import on clay for further enrichment.
