New mandatory requirements for job posts: salary range, location, LinkedIn profile, and organization name
🚨 Hey folks, this is an important announcement so please take a minute to read through! While our guidelines mention that job posts must include a salary range, we continue to see posts without them. It was a conscious decision to not enforce that rule but that's changing today. It is now mandatory for job posts to include the following:
Salary range – preferably in USD considering the global nature of our community
Location + timezone preferences – remote roles must specify if one needs to work as per a specific timezone
LinkedIn profile of the member posting the role + the name of the organization they are hiring for
Additionally, we don't recommend members to engage with unsolicited DMs as many of you have reported having a bad experience with potential recruiters. If you choose to do so, please exercise caution. ⚠️ Please note that job posts that don't comply with the above requirements will be deleted immediately. Thanks for your understanding!
