Hi all! Looking for help designing deep signal-based workflows in Clay — focused on two segments:
1. Pre-ecommerce companies – companies that have product catalogs or brand pages but aren’t yet selling online.
2. Companies in need of SEO – sites showing weak SEO fundamentals (poor metadata, thin content, no blog, no SEO tools, etc.)
Goals:
• Identify early-stage ecommerce intent (tech gaps, job postings, site language, catalog URLs)
• Detect SEO neglect (missing meta tags, no H1s, low content, no Yoast/Search Console, etc.)
What I’m looking for:
• Any proven waterfalls or workflows to score “pre-ecommerce” signals?
• Creative ways to detect SEO underinvestment using Clay data and scraping?
• Bonus: scoring models you’ve used to prioritize leads who may not know they need SEO yet
