I saw somewhere that Clay was rolling out an email sequencer, our team currently uses Quickmail, anyone A) had success with some controlled customization of emails in Quickmail, B) anyone uses Clay's email sequencer? C) Is it actually launched and functional? Quickmail has been a huge part of our outbound stack, does everything we want it to, but its AI rewriting hasn't been great, and having some ability to "automate" some of the personalization would be cool... But I'm happily willing to look at Clay's sequencer, just didn't hear anything about it in the 101 cohort training I went through...
We use Quickmail (once the data is exported from Clay). You can play with different options to customize, from dynamic fields to full paragraphs or even the whole email content (if you use AI for this) pushed in html format in one single field
Interesting, I'll play around with it over the next week.. Deliverability wise, and inbox stability, AI Rewrite has been great, but it kind of dumbs down the message, removes some impact from my amazing sequence writing abilities... I know how to make a customer respond, but it's rewriting, doesnt allow us to put any kind of guardrails on the rewriting.. its feels like an old school "spintax" type tool.. but i'll see what I can do with it
Rewrite is not great, agreed
sequencer isn't covered in clay 101 cohort as it is a feature that comes into play when you've mastered the fundamentals of clay, and ready to do outbound. that said, we are consistently developing new cohorts and definitely sequencer is on our radar as a feature to cover for a different type of cohort
i recommend you to play around with octave and twain as well for ai snippet writing
both natively avail via clay
