Finding Effective Competitor Analysis Tools and Approaches

hi im looking to find competitors for companies that are operating in the same space. I explored ocean.io but I did not find the results to be great.. any other approach that my help?

You can do a lookalike in clay or apollo

yeah but the results are not great

You have to get the characteristics of the company for which you want to find the competitors and as per that you can use company enrich, crunchbase or apollo to find the companies

discolike and pandamatch are worth trying - Ocean is usually best in class imo

Ocean.io can be hit or miss for niche markets. A better approach inside Clay is using the "Find Similar Companies" step with Apollo or Clearbit just plug in the domain and it’ll return close competitors based on firmographics and tech stack. You can also layer in keywords or industry filters to refine results.

panda is no longer operating - disco were actually powering them. companyenrich is also a good one, gives me better results
