Using Clay to Analyze Job Postings for Target Accounts

·
·

Looking for help in Clay I have a list of 150 accounts with company domains and linkedin urls that I want to target. How can I use Clay to give me 1/ Job postings by this company on Google, Linkedin and their website. 2/ Analyse the job postings to see if they match with our target ICP titles. 3/ Give the date, description and total number of job postings that belong to our ICP. 4/ Based on the description, title of relevant job posting, give me 3 key priorities for the company that made them hire more people. 5/ Use this information to craft a cold email's first line. In case somebody can help quickly, I am also happy to jump on a call and share what I am trying to do.

We can help you target those 150 accounts using our job openings feature. Here's how: 1. Import your list of 150 accounts into Clay. 2. Use the "Job Openings" waterfall to find open positions for these companies. 3. Set company domains as parameters and add relevant keywords for your target positions. 4. Run the waterfall to see matching job openings. 5. Analyze the job data to identify ICP matches and extract key priorities. 6. Use Clay's AI to generate personalized first lines for cold emails based on the job information. This process will help you find relevant job postings, match them to your ICP, and create targeted outreach. If you need more detailed guidance, please ask for specific steps and I'll be happy to elaborate.

Thank you, I have used "Job Opening" waterfall to find open jobs. I have added the relevant keywords and when I ran it for first 10 companies it gave me good results for 6 companies. Now I have this data, how can I use it further for my use case?

Great! Now that you have the job data, you can use it to analyze ICP matches, extract key priorities, and craft personalized cold email first lines. Here's how: 1. Analyze ICP matches: Review the job titles and descriptions to identify roles that align with your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). 2. Extract key priorities: Look for patterns in the job descriptions to identify the company's current priorities and challenges. 3. Craft personalized cold email first lines: Use the insights from steps 1 and 2 to create targeted opening lines. For example: "As the [Job Title] at [Company], managing [specific challenge] must feel [pain point]. I'm working on a solution that [value proposition]." To streamline this process, you can use Clay's AI to generate personalized first lines based on the job information you've gathered. If you need more detailed guidance on using these features, please let me know, and I'll be happy to provide further assistance.

Quick question: If Clay has found out 5 job openings that belong to our ICP titles, how I can add these to a new column in Clay and use that column to analyse it for patterns and give pain points.

To add the 5 job openings that match your ICP titles to a new column and analyze patterns, you can follow these steps: 1. Use the "write to table" feature to create a new column for the ICP-matching job openings. 2. Add an AI column to analyze patterns and identify pain points: • Click "+ Add column" and select "Use AI" • Choose "Content creation, manipulation, and categorization" as the use case • Select your preferred AI model • Write a prompt asking the AI to analyze job titles and descriptions for patterns and pain points 3. Run the AI analysis on the new column containing the ICP-matching job openings. This approach will help you extract insights from the job data, such as common challenges or priorities among the companies hiring for your ICP roles.
