What can I do to avoid this error 'cell data size exceeds limit (200kb)' on the lookup run?
To avoid the 200kb cell data size limit error, you have several options:
Split your data into smaller chunks:
Use API parameters like limit and offset to break large datasets into smaller requests
Request data incrementally rather than pulling complete datasets at once
Reduce the data size:
Remove unnecessary fields or duplicate data from your lookup results
Use dot notation to fetch only specific subsets of data (like Results.child.grandchild)
Summarize the data using AI tools to keep only essential information
Use external storage workarounds:
Write large data to Google Sheets with an ID reference, then import summarized data back into Clay
Process data externally with tools like Postman before importing
The 200kb limit is fixed due to our data storage design, but these strategies will help you work within the constraint while keeping your workflows running smoothly.

I still don't get it. I use lookup to a different table for competitors based on the City field. Usually I get normal results. This is actually the first time I saw this error. Can you connect me to a human agent to check it out.
I understand this can be frustrating, so I’m routing you to one of our human agents who can assist you further.
