Using Crunchbase CSV Exports for Data Updates and Integration

I can't find a Crunchbase API, am i right in saying it's a case of use Crunchbase.com export as a CSV and then import in to a new table or is there a better way to do it. I'd like the table to pull new companies and profiles when they get funded or added to Crunchbase?
