Hi Clay Support, I'm using Claygent to find companies with community/workforce development programs focused on social impact. The issue is it's giving me the same companies over and over, even when I add new rows. How can I make sure it only gives me new, unique companies each time? Thanks!
To get new, unique companies each time you use Claygent, you can try a couple of approaches: 1. Use the company lookalikes feature: This can significantly expand your list with similar companies. For example, starting with 10 companies might result in 90+ lookalikes, each with valuable data and similarity scores. 2. Refresh your data: Whenever you add new company data to your company table, rerun the lookup in your people table. This pulls the enriched company data into your people table, ensuring you have updated information each time. By combining these methods, you're more likely to get fresh, unique companies in your results. If you need more specific guidance, please let me know and I'll be happy to help further.
Hey Vladimir - I recorded this walkthrough video showing exactly how to set this up: https://cln.sh/FJCR737y Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
Awesome, thank you!
Once I’ve already added 'Find companies' with Find AI (beta) Table, how do I make it start searching?
Hey! It should automatically start once all required inputs are filled in. Could you show me where you’ve added them so I can check what might be missing?
I saw that it automatically started giving me results once it found the 10 I had set as the limit. How could I continue the search from there? Should I add more rows, or how does it work? Thanks so much!
Thanks for asking! Here’s a quick GIF showing exactly how to continue the search—just follow the steps there. Let me know if anything’s unclear or if you need help extending the results further!
Awesome, thanks! Where does Find Companies with Find AI (beta) pull its information from? Is it Google Search, a database, LinkedIn?
It uses a mix of AI search and multiple data providers to surface results. Curious—anything specific you’re trying to improve or troubleshoot?
Thank you for the clarification! I’m currently conducting a comparison between the outcomes generated by this tool and those from platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others. Knowing that it uses a mix of AI search and multiple data providers is helpful—any additional details on the specific sources used would be highly valuable
Got it—it pulls from a variety of different databases, but the exact sources aren’t publicly listed. The mix is designed to balance breadth and depth across industries and geographies.
Great, really appreciate your help! Bo (. 🙌🏼
