Troubleshooting Claygent: Why It's Not Running Correctly

Why would a Claygent just not run? I don't see an error, it doesn't say it timed out or failed - it is just blank.

When Claygent appears blank without errors, it's often due to loading delays or the column being in a "queued" state.
Try these solutions:
• Force restart: Click the column header, hover over "Run column," and select "Force" to jump-start the run
• Re-run individual cells: Click on the blank cell and select "re-run this cell"
• Check required fields: Ensure any referenced columns contain data - Claygent won't run if required inputs are empty [1]
• Rate limits: Heavy prompts or lower API tiers can cause delays
If the issue persists, duplicate the column and run it on filtered empty rows, then merge the results.

Is there a way to automate re-runs? This table needs to be very consistent and not just fail for no reason.

Yes, you can automate re-runs using scheduled columns. Click the ⛭ icon in the bottom right, select "Re-run columns on a schedule" under Run Settings, and choose your frequency (hourly for Enterprise, or daily/weekly/monthly). [1]
For better consistency, also set up conditional runs using "Only run if" conditions in your column settings. This ensures columns only run when required data is present, preventing blank failures. [2]
To prevent infinite loops that could cause inconsistencies, use status/flag columns to track processed rows and implement one-way data flows. [3]
