I'd be happy to help you with a credit refund for the people search issue. To process this, I need your Refund ID - this is a unique numeric identifier that ties you to your workspace. Could you provide that for me?
If you still need help with the people search credit issue, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to resolve so we can continue?
Where do i find my ID for this?
To find your Refund ID, please go to your workspace settings (usually accessible from the top-right corner of Clay) and look for your account or workspace details section. The Refund ID is a unique numeric identifier associated with your workspace. Can you check there and share that number with me?

Credit refunds happen automatically when providers refund us for invalid data. [1] If a provider charges us for an API call that returns invalid data, we charge Clay credits for that call, but if the provider refunds us due to inability to deliver valid data, we refund those credits back to you. [2]
However, there isn't a general refund process for credits used beyond limits - credits are typically consumed when enrichments run successfully. [3]
Can you share more details about what specific issue occurred with the people search that made the credits invalid or unusable?
Get person
Find person limit was not abided by
I see the credit refund attempt for your workspace failed. The "Find People" limits work by restricting results per company or total results, but the system still processes and charges for the full search before applying these limits.
While I don't have full information about your specific case, credits are typically only refunded when providers refund us for invalid data. [1] [2] Since the refund tool couldn't process your request automatically, you'll need to ask to speak with a human agent who can investigate this specific limit issue and determine if a manual refund is appropriate.
The human team can review your table activity and see exactly what happened with the search limits in your workspace.

Hey Garrett! Thanks for reaching out. Could you explain a bit more on the situation so I could understand? I see the table limit is set up to 50,000 and 4 per company but pulled 258 at the time of this message.
Let me know if this is a different issue!
