is there a way to select multiple industries at the same time within a keyword list? When you select one it removes the list and you have to re-type the keyword

Yes, you can select multiple industries simultaneously in Clay's company search. When setting up a "Find Companies" search, multiple industries can be selected at the same time without removing your previous selections.
The interface allows you to specify both "Industries to include" and "Industries to exclude" as separate parameters, and you can add multiple entries to each category. [1] This should prevent the issue you're experiencing where selecting one industry removes your keyword list.
If you're still having trouble with the interface removing your selections, try using our built-in AI tool called Sculptor (available in the top-right corner) to help set up your search parameters more efficiently.

I know that, but when i select an industry, the dropdown disappears

That sounds like a UI behavior issue. The dropdown should stay open to allow multiple selections.
Try using Sculptor (the AI tool in the top-right corner) to help set up your company search parameters - it might handle the multi-selection more smoothly.
You could also try the saved searches feature to store your criteria once you get them configured properly. [1]
