Hey everyone, I’m having a hard time getting Sandbox mode working. After clicking sandbox i see a message “failed to create sandbox table”. After refreshing the page I do see a Sandbox table was created but it contains 0 rows. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/777627/workbooks/wb_0t6j4y9cCrh5GhmRhTb/
I see you're getting that "failed to create sandbox table" error, but the sandbox is actually being created - it's just showing 0 rows initially. This is expected behavior. [1]
When sandbox mode starts, it should automatically duplicate the top 10 rows from your existing table as samples. [2] Since you're seeing 0 rows, try adding data manually:
Click Actions → Add rows to sandbox, then select how many rows you want and choose either "Top rows" or "Random set" from your main table.
If the error message persists, try clearing your browser cache and refreshing - this often resolves display issues.
Before we dig deeper, have you tried using Sculptor (the AI tool in the top-right corner)? It might help troubleshoot this sandbox setup issue quickly.
add rows to sandbox doesn’t exist under actions
The interface has been updated. Instead of "Add rows to sandbox" under Actions, look for an "Add test data" button. [1]
Click that button, enter how many rows you want, and choose either "Top rows" or "Random set" from your All data tab.
Alternatively, you can go to your All data tab, select specific rows, then click "Add X rows to test data" in the top right.
