i tried scraping comments from a linkedin post through 'find post audience' on Linkedin but its not letting me do that, the SS shows the error message i got, what does that mean?
The "Find Post Audience" action is designed to find who reacted to or commented on a LinkedIn post. You can use it by providing either the LinkedIn post URL or the LinkedIn URN, selecting the reaction type (all reactions or only comments), and setting the maximum number of results. This feature requires a Pro+ pricing plan. Without seeing your specific error message, common issues could relate to the post URL format, plan limitations, or data provider availability. The action accepts LinkedIn post URLs in this format: [https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:share::7304911929980903426/](https:://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:share:7304911929980903426/) or just the URN portion. Could you share the specific error message you're seeing so I can provide more targeted troubleshooting steps?
when i run the table, it says "Please check that you are page admin for your organization and try again."
The error "Please check that you are page admin for your organization and try again" occurs because you must be the admin of the LinkedIn company page to use the Find Post Audience feature. Without admin access to the LinkedIn page, you'll get this "forbidden" notification when the action fails to run. You'll need to either get admin permissions for the LinkedIn company page or have someone with admin access run this action instead.
but i am using my personal linkedin account for this
The Find Post Audience feature requires admin access to the LinkedIn company page that owns the post, not just a personal LinkedIn account. Even if you're using your personal LinkedIn account to connect to Clay, you must be an admin of the specific company page to access post audience data. If the post belongs to a company page you don't admin, you won't be able to retrieve its audience data regardless of your personal account access.
but the account who owns the post is a personal linkedin profile, and i dont have access to that
You're correct - the Find Post Audience feature only works for company page posts where you have admin access, not for personal LinkedIn profiles. For personal profile posts, you can try the "Professional posts" integration instead, which includes actions like "Get reactions on a professional post" that work with personal LinkedIn posts. Alternatively, you could use the "Social Posts" feature to find posts from specific individuals. These alternatives don't require admin access to the profile owner's account.
Hello Manav! Thanks for reaching out! I see you had two tickets open for this issue so went ahead and merged the two tickets. Would highly recommend opening only one ticket per issue to ensure we are avoid any confusion!
If you want to monitor an account which you do not own and it is only one post you are monitoring, I would suggest using the Monitor interactions with professional posts option!
so will it be able to also scrape all commenters?
Yes it should be able to. Let me cross check any limitations!
Hey there is no limitation as far as I know, you can go ahead and use it.
