Problem with this table (screenshot) the numbers dont add up to 20k credits for 34k rows only, I'm using waterfall in this and its not running on this much rows when i check manually in the table using filter. Need to get the the real cost
The credit usage for your table doesn’t add up to 20k credits for 34k rows because Clay charges credits per cell, not per row, and the cost can vary by column and action. For example, some columns (like email validation) may use more credits per cell than others, and actions like waterfall or failed validations still consume credits even if the result isn’t used. Also, auto-updates, redundant runs, or failed enrichments can inflate the total credit cost beyond a simple row count times average cost per row [1] [2].
To accurately estimate the cost for 2.6 million rows with waterfall:
Multiply the average cost per cell for each column by 2.6 million to get the total estimated cost.
If you have multiple columns or dependent enrichments, sum the estimated costs for all relevant columns [5].
Be aware that AI model changes or filters can affect costs, so review your column settings before running at scale .
This approach gives you a more accurate estimate than just multiplying the total credits by the row count.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! I recorded this walkthrough video showing exactly how to set this up:
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
thanks for the video, my question is I've 34k rows in the table and enrichments that I'm using in waterfall are (0.1, 0.4 & 0.5) credits so it dosent makes any sense to run 60k cells as if you check manually almost 32k rows haven't met run condition so it shouldn't use any credits, but its quite the opposite
Thanks for the video Bo (. https://www.loom.com/share/152d8b59c29440329b336baf2aa60525 Any reason why we are not able to see Credit usage? cc Asad B.
