Hi Dan,
Thanks for reaching out to support. Would you be able to provide a bit more context on what went wrong?
i asked it to combine first and last and gave me a sentence and also hallcuinated making up names. this was with claygent
Hey there Dan thanks for reaching out, to clarify did it occur in this table People - EAs (2) - People - EAs (2) (2) or another one?
yes that's correct
Hey,
I don’t see any rows to review on my side, so I can’t verify the run. What you’re describing is prompt behavior: if the instructions aren’t specific, the model can invent text. Tightening the prompt will prevent that.
If you share 2–3 example rows and the exact prompt you used, I’ll help tune it so it combines first and last name correctly without adding anything else.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Hi Bo, i erasd the columns that were causing the problem. Claygent literally returned Dan Berger JEnkins and other hallycinations n the most basic AI prompt
i would appreciate the credits back since i now have to wait two weeks
Hey Dan,
I’ve gone ahead and added the credits back this time. Just a heads-up — this will be the last adjustment we can make for issues caused by prompt behavior.
When using Claygent, the model strictly follows your prompt. If the instructions are too broad or unclear, it can generate unexpected or made-up outputs. It’s always best to test on a few rows first to make sure the prompt works as intended before running it on the full table.
Let me know if you’d like help refining the prompt so it runs cleanly next time.
