Hello, when doing a ‘find people at these companies’, in my result column I want to be able to see if the row got a result or not (instead of people search updated message) - do you know how to desplay it?
The "People Search Updated" message just indicates the search ran, but doesn't show actual results. To see if each row found people or not, you'll need to look at the results that get imported into your table.
When you run "Find people at these companies," the system shows you the total number of results that match your search criteria directly in the search interface before importing. After clicking "Import" and "Save to new table," you'll get the actual people data in a separate table where you can see exactly which companies returned results. [1]
The status column you're seeing is just a processing indicator, not a results counter. The actual results will be in your new people table.
Is that what you were looking for?
I know where to see the results, what I want previous that is to see if the row got a result or not
You can add a "Has Matches" boolean column to see if each row returned results or not. This shows true/false for whether the people search found matches for that company, giving you the quick yes/no indicator you're looking for instead of just the "People Search Updated" message. [1]
Is that what you were looking for?
please tell me how to do that?
When setting up your "Find people at these companies" search, look for the output options that include a "Has Matches" boolean field. [1] This will add a true/false column to your table showing whether each company returned any results or not, giving you the quick indicator you want instead of just the "People Search Updated" message. [2]
Was that helpful?
I don’t find the the output options that include a “Has Matches” boolean field.
You're right - the "Has Matches" field isn't available for the "Find people at these companies" action. That output option only exists for certain other integrations like "Find Open Jobs with Google." [1]
You'd need to create a custom formula column to check if the results array is empty or contains data to achieve what you want.
