Clay's sculptor not updating the list even after asking to update the filters
Sculptor has limitations with modifying existing tables—it can only create new ones, not update existing ones. [1]
For your filter updates to take effect, you'll need to delete and re-run the step that generated the data, or duplicate the table with the updated source. [2] Clay doesn't automatically reprocess previously generated data when you change filters.
Try creating a fresh table through Sculptor with your updated filters instead.
Is that what you were looking for?
No new prompt was given. Even after that. I asked it to remove service and staffing companies. Asked it to remove companies with less than 500 employees. Asked it to remove some countries from APAC region. Nothing
That's frustrating—the issue is that Clay doesn't automatically reprocess data when you change filters after a table has been run. [1]
To see your updated filters (removing service/staffing companies, <500 employees, and APAC countries), you need to delete and re-run the step that generated the data, or duplicate the table with the updated source.
Before trying that manually, I'd recommend using Sculptor (top-right corner) to help rebuild your table with the new filters—it's free and can quickly set this up for you.
Try Sculptor first and let me know if that works!
Did that answer your question?
I did rerun! It didnt show me the table only then
That sounds like a display issue. Try a hard refresh first:
Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
If you still see empty rows after the rerun, clear your cache and refresh—this often resolves front-end performance issues where filtered data doesn't display properly.
The rerun should have processed your filters, but sometimes the display gets stuck even when the data updated correctly. [1]
Was this helpful?
Pretty sure not a display issue
Got it. Since the rerun didn't work and filters aren't applying, try Sculptor (top-right corner) to rebuild your table from scratch with the updated filters. [1]
If that doesn't resolve it, you might need to check if there are any column dependencies or run conditions preventing the filters from working properly.
Let me know if Sculptor helps or if you're still seeing the same issue!
