The Monitor job changes feature works in two ways:
1. Historical Check: When you first set up job change monitoring, Clay performs an initial check to see if people have changed companies from their previously recorded positions.
2. Future Changes: After setup, Clay continuously monitors for new job changes going forward. The system can detect changes that occurred within the last 3 months for new hire signals.
To track future job changes, you only need to provide the "Person LinkedIn URL" column. For historical checks, you can also include the "Company LinkedIn URL" to verify if contacts are still at their previously recorded companies.
