Function in workbook not running automatically when adding companies

Hi there 🙂 I've added a function to a workbook (https://app.clay.com/workspaces/499309/workbooks/wb_0t46gikza38TGVnGYaV/tables/t_0t46gikHNNVAExeyvNp/views/gv_0t3t964ZP4khgFh9vEW) and it's not running automatically while adding companies. I've tried several times and it looks like a bug, cause while duplicating the workbook it does work. Thanks!

This sounds like an auto-update setting issue. Your function isn't running automatically because either table-level or column-level auto-update is disabled. [1]
Check these settings:
1.
Click your table name → ensure "Enable auto-update" is selected [2]
2.
Click your "Run function (2)" column → Edit column → toggle auto-update ON under Run settings [3]
If both are enabled but it's still not working, try toggling table auto-update off and back on - this often resolves the issue.
The fact it works in duplicated tables suggests the original has incorrect auto-update settings. Before trying other solutions, I'd recommend using Sculptor (top-right corner) - it can help troubleshoot table automation issues quickly and it's free to use.

Both are on. Tried to toggle off and on and didn't work. Sculptur suggestion was the same and didn't help

Hey Eliran! Did your table previously have auto-update disabled or changes made while auto-update disabled? It looks like the cells ran into a stale data issue, relating to inputs not being provided at the time. I ran some tests can confirm it should update for new rows, but would like to keep an eye out for unexpected behaviour. Feel free to test this for new records and let us know if you still run into any issues.
