Hi I am having a problem with the signal called “New Hire.” I ran a test on the company I work for and noticed that the profiles that come up are not consistent with reality. Some people joined over a year ago. However, I set a filter for the last three months. Is there a setting I forgot to add? What data sources do you use to provide this information?
The “New Hire” signal is designed to track employees hired at target companies within the last three months, but results may not always match reality due to data source limitations. The signal relies on third-party data providers, which can have outdated or incomplete information, especially if recent hires haven’t been updated in those sources yet. Data refreshes occur on a rolling basis, with full updates every 2–3 weeks, so some profiles may appear older than they actually are .
Data sources: The signal uses a combination of third-party B2B data providers, but the exact list isn’t specified. The accuracy depends on the quality and timeliness of these providers’ records [1].
To improve accuracy:
Double-check your filters (company domains, job titles, time window) to ensure they’re set correctly [2].
Use the “Enrich Person from Profile” or “Enrich company” enrichments for real-time updates, which can help capture the most current hires .
If you’re still seeing inconsistencies, try broadening your filters slightly to capture more data, then refine as needed .
Note: The signal is not guaranteed to be 100% up-to-date due to the nature of third-party data refresh cycles [3].
Is that what you were looking for?
If you still need help with the “New Hire” signal or have more questions about the data and settings, I’m here to assist. Would you like to provide more details about what you’re trying to resolve or understand?
Okay, but the problem is that the credit cost to obtain this type of information is quite expensive. If I also have to use another enrichment to verify that the data is correct, it doesn't seem very cost-effective to me....
To get accurate "New Hire" data without high enrichment costs:
Tip: Always check if data already exists before running enrichments. This is the most effective way to control costs while maintaining accuracy .
Did that answer your question?
If you still need assistance with managing credit costs or improving data accuracy, I’m here to help. Would you like to share more about your specific goals or challenges with the “New Hire” signal?
I don't think the answer provided is relevant to my needs. I retrieve the information from the “New Hire” feature, which should provide me with the names of people who have been hired by a company within the last three months.
