I want to add the enrichment of finding companies that got the latest funding rounds. I used the claygent, but most of them are undisclosed. And I'm not able to connect the API of crunchbase and if i'll use it will consume too much credits, even if i'll use the waterfall, it will consume most of the credits. What's the best way to add this enrichment in order to find funding stage, date, and amount
Hey Salim! If you prefer to do so, you can directly integrate your crunchbase API key within Clay to avoid any double charges here. Hope this helps!
I know Clay is best..... But if you need the crunchbase direct scraping then i can do 1K-$4
Yeah, the best way is to start with Find Companies and then enrich with Funding. Any companies without funding data will just return empty, and most of those runs get refunded so it saves credits. Using Crunchbase directly can get expensive, so another option is to pull from online aggregators that publish funding lists upfront and then enrich those companies in Clay. Let me know if you have more questions
because you cannot import the list into crunchbase to enrich it unless you're a Crunchbase paid customer
If I already have the list, how i can find the companies on Crunchbase
Use Crunchbase directly.
My issue is i'm not able to find the providers that can give me the funding data about these companies. And each provider is more expensive than the other ones
For cost-effective funding enrichment, try Intellizence - it's specifically designed for latest fundraising data and covers venture-backed startups with public funding announcements after January 2022. Intellizence provides: ** Latest funding amount ** Funding stage ** Last funding date ** Investors ** Funding news URL Alternative providers include Harmonic.ai and *Dealroom.co which also offer funding data enrichment. For Crunchbase, you can use our native "Enrich a company's latest funding round" action which may be more credit-efficient than the API.
