Implementing Clay: Can We Send Gong Transcripts to Salesforce?

Hi Team. I'm looking to implement Clay soon, and I just saw this article : https://community.clay.com/x/support/6y3nfp3wgubs/automating-gong-transcripts-export-for-every-call?utm_source=chatgpt.com - can you confirm you're able to send the entire transcript to Salesforce through your integration? Is the transcript delivered as a file? Thank you.

curious why do you need the entire transcript? like what's the end goal?

As I understand it, If I can ingest the entire transcript into Salesforce, then it can be used as part of an Agentforce data library.

Gotcha, well transcripts can be accessed via API, and if you're gonna do that you probably are going to want to connect directly to Salesforce for ingesting this transcript data to the Agentforce library

Yup, I was trying to understand if Clay had a method that didn't involve me having to build something myself 🙂

I mean, you can do it through Clay, but it's just an added step. If your end goal is just to get it into Salesforce

Yeah. when you're trying to get data to go from app to app, you either build a process or you build an integration. If you want, I can help you try to build an integration for this! Doesnt seem too hard - especially if you already have an automation tool in house.
