Troubleshooting Zoom Info Connection Issues with Clay Integration

Has anyone had any luck connecting their Zoom Info account to Clay? I click on add connection and then when I name my connection, add my zoominfo username and then password it gives me an error message. It says "An error occurred while creating the account. Please check your credentials and try again." How can I fix this and get my Zoom Info integrated?

    To resolve this credentials error when connecting your ZoomInfo account, follow these steps: 1. Go to your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings 2. Navigate to the Connections tab in the sidebar 3. Click Add Connection and search for ZoomInfo 4. When configuring the connection: β€’ Double-check that your ZoomInfo username and password are entered correctly β€’ Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your credentials β€’ Verify that your ZoomInfo account is active and in good standing If you continue experiencing issues after following these steps, you may want to: ** Try clearing your browser cache and attempting the connection again ** Ensure you're using your current ZoomInfo login credentials

    Here is what I am getting, and I'm not sure why. My zoom Info Login and Password are correct and I'm still getting this error.

    Thanks for sharing this. Could you let me know the workspace where you're trying to set this up? I didn't see one associated with your email address here. I'm also curious if there's some browser-related hiccup here. Any luck when trying with a different browser, in incognito mode, after ensuring all cookies are allowed, etc.?

    Thanks for giving that a shot. From here, I'd recommend two items: 1. Reach out to ZoomInfo support and confirm if you have API access enabled under your current credentials? (From what I understand, it's an additional package they offer.) 2. Ask if they can allowlist clay.com for usage under your account. I've seen other customers who were not aware of this security restriction they apply. I'm curious if perhaps that access has not been set up for your account.

    Hi Mark I was able to get it added after talking to Zoom Info, thank you! However, see attached. Do you know why I'm getting this error message?

    That's great! It looks like you're still getting an error because you're missing an input for this action. Could you click into this provider in the waterfall and see what mandatory inputs are not filled?

    Sorry for this, it looks like we've got a bug on our hands. I've escalated this to our engineering team to help look into it. We'll follow up here as soon as we know more! For now, you can add a ZI action separate from the waterfall while we fix this. You can also add a conditional formula to prevent it from running if the waterfall has any results.

    Hi Bo, thanks for getting back to me. So, what you're telling me to do is create a new Column enrichment for ZoomInfo and click on the Enrich contact? See attached screenshots is this the right? I only want this to run if the emails from the waterfall are empty. Is this how you would do it, or is there a better way to do this?

    Thank you Bo! I'll reach out to Zoom Info to see why the Invalid credentials message is showing up under the "Enrich Contact" Zoom Info Column. Can you also make a short video adding a column next to the Zoom Info "Enrich Contact" column that merges together all of the correct emails after going through the waterfall and then after going through the Zoom Info Enrich Contact Column? Can you put this column of combined emails or whatever it's called after the Zoom Info "Enrich Contact" column?

    Hi Bo, I was able to get the Zoom Info enrich contact to work. Based on your video what do I put as the / in the "then try" section to merge all the emails from the waterfall and the enrich zoom info column to show all the validated emails in one column?

    I'm trying to merge the Waterfall with the Enrich Contact with Zoom Info, but it's not showing the actual email address in the "Merged Emails" column. Can you help me fix this so it shows the actual person's email address?

    When I open up one of the cells that says "Contact Found" it's showing a bunch of Hashed Emails. Why is that? Shouldn't it be pulling that contact's work email and putting it in the "Merged Email" column I created?
